Privacy Policy

Overview

CacheCannon does not collect, store, transmit, or share any personal data.

This extension exists to clear your browser data, not harvest it.

Data Collection

The extension:

Does NOT track your browsing history
Does NOT collect analytics or usage data
Does NOT transmit any data to external servers
Does NOT use cookies for tracking
Does NOT contain advertisements
Does NOT load any remote resources (fonts and all assets are bundled locally)

Data Storage

CacheCannon stores only your preferences on your device using the browser's local storage API (storage.local). This data:

Never leaves your device
Is not synced, uploaded, or accessible to LXB Studio LLC or any third party
Can be deleted by uninstalling the extension

Permissions

CacheCannon requests only the permissions necessary to function:

Permission	Why
browsingData	Clear cache, cookies, and other browser data
storage	Save your settings locally
activeTab	Read the current tab's URL for refresh / reopen / testing (only after you invoke the extension)
contextMenus	Right-click menu functionality
notifications	Show purge confirmation feedback

CacheCannon does not request the tabs or scripting permissions, and requests no host permissions.

Third-Party Services

CacheCannon can open third-party performance-testing websites (PageSpeed Insights, GTmetrix, WebPageTest, Pingdom, DebugBear, Yellow Lab Tools, or a custom URL) if you configure it to do so. Those websites have their own privacy policies. CacheCannon does not share any data with these services beyond opening a URL in your browser.
